What's around the city centre

Wind Street is Swansea's main night out, a run of bars and clubs that fills up at the weekend. For daytime, the Quadrant shopping centre and Swansea Market, the largest indoor market in Wales, cover the shopping and the food, and the marina and seafront are a short walk south for some air. The High Street train station sits at the northern edge of the centre for trips home or along the coast towards Mumbles and Gower.

Getting around

This is the most connected part of the city. You'll walk to most things, and the bus station puts the whole network at your feet. City services and the UniBus run out to the Swansea University campuses, with the 38 and X1 heading to the Bay Campus and services like the 4 and X1 to Singleton. The N91 and N92 night buses cover the trip back after dark.
