The University of Brighton is a large, modern university with a strong creative and practical reputation. For the Grand Parade City campus, living central makes sense. Brighton city centre and the pub-heavy streets of Hanover and Elm Grove are both walkable, and Kemptown is a short stroll east along the seafront.

Getting to campus

Lewes Road is set up as an academic corridor linking the campuses, so the buses are frequent. The Brighton & Hove 25 runs along Lewes Road to Moulsecoomb and on to Falmer, with a term-time 25X express, and the 23 and 49 also head north towards Moulsecoomb. Moulsecoomb has its own station, and trains from central Brighton reach Falmer in roughly eight minutes for the Falmer campus.
